It’s a very reason that almost all domain registrars offer auto-renew facilities. If auto-renewal is enabled on your domain cpanel then you don’t have to worry because your domain will automatically get renewed every time. On the contrary. if you’ve disabled auto renew feature then you’ve to renew your domain name manually.
Many of us turn-off domain auto renew feature and it’s OK; if you’ve confidence that you will remember to renew you domain on time. Another reason that you can turn off auto-renew feature is a well reputed domain registrar sends you email reminders if your domain is about to expire. And also your domain company calls you to ask whether your want to renew your domain name or not; before releasing your domain to public for registration.
